How many times have you heard someone say "I used to be able to speak XYZ language but I stopped practicing and now I can't." Don't let your child lose all the knowledge he has achieved! This is the perfect class for someone who is fluent or approaching that level. It gives an opportunity to practice, refine grammar, and hone conversational skills in a fun, child lead approach. The conversations will gravitate towards the children’s interests as a group and if you ever taught a child, you know tailoring to their interests is the way to really get them engaged and talking!!! I will be moderating the conversation to make sure that we stay in productive mode and that interactions remain supportive, and to make sure the conversation stays in Spanish. I will also be introducing new words based on their conversational interests from the subset of high frequency words. More reserved students will be gently nudged but never forced beyond their comfort level.
