2 Week Spanish - Children (8 - 11 y.o.)

Service Description

Mondays through Fridays 4:30 pm (PST) 30 mins each time for 2 weeks (five meetings per week). We will use games and stories to engage our learners. They will receive immediate feedback and encouragement to practice. The first few sessions will be bilingual and gradually we will be moving to an immersive approach. We will use positive reinforcement, role play, audio visual tools, and an awesome supportive group atmosphere. Our focus is on the basics (colors, numbers, feelings) and in high frequency words. That way learners can eventually participate in mini conversations with the tutor and with each other! Week1 Topic 1 - Introductions, saying your name Topic 2 - Colors and Preferences (Me Gusta/ No Me Gusta) Topic 3 - Fruits and numbers 1 -10 Week 2 Session 1 - Domestic Animals and Farm Animals Session 2 - Common verbs and numbers 11 - 20 Session 3 - Days of the Week There are 3 main topics in each week but the class meets 5 times a week to allow for valuable practice as the learners become more confident with the material. Our classes our capped at 6 learners to allow for a meaningful learning experience.
